EVENT OVERVIEW
To recognize the top achievers in Oman’s corporate
world, AIWA has instituted Awards for Oman's Best
Performing Companies. In a red carpet awards evening
at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah on 27 June this year,
AIWA felicitated the top performing listed companies
in Oman during 2010.
A networker’s dream, the event was attended by the
who’s who of Muscat corporate high life. The event
attracted more than 300 business leaders, top
managers and senior government officials from a
cross-section of domains.

The winners were selected based on their
performance on the five key financial
parameters including Revenue Growth, Net
Profit Growth, Return on Average Assets,
Return on Average Equity and Net Profit
Margin. The ranking process wais done by
Gulf Baader Capital Markets (GBCM). The
ranking results were validated by KPMG.

AIWA also felicitated two corporates
with ‘Award for Excellence in Corporate
Leadership’ for not only reaching the
pinnacle of corporate success but also
